Refund policy

We want you to love your Camia Shoes. If something isn't right, we're here to help. Please read this policy carefully — it explains exactly what we can offer depending on your situation and location.

 

1. Return Window

You have 15 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange. This applies to all orders.

For customers in the European Union: please note that EU law grants you a minimum 14-day right to return. Our 15-day policy exceeds this legal minimum.

 

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your shoes must:

       Be unworn and unused

       Have their original tags attached

       Be in the original packaging

Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted for return.

 

3. Reasons for Return

A. Size Exchange

If your shoes don't fit, we'll make it easy to exchange for the right size:

       Return shipping is free — we cover it for you

       Shipping your new size back to you is also free

       We want you to end up with shoes that fit, at no extra cost to you

B. You Simply Changed Your Mind

If you'd like to return your shoes for any other reason (you don't like them, changed your mind, etc.), returns are also free. We'll cover the return shipping cost, but wont refund the initial shipping cost. 

C. Damaged or Incorrect Item

If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at wecare@camiashoes.com. We will resolve the issue promptly at no cost to you.

 

4. How Returns Are Collected — By Country

How your return is handled depends on where you are located. Please see the details below.

Portugal, France, Italy, Germany & Spain — Home Pickup

If you are in one of these countries, we will arrange for a courier to come directly to your address to collect the return. You do not need to go to a post office or drop-off point.

       We provide a prepaid shipping label

       A courier will be scheduled to pick up the parcel from your home

       This service is completely free for size exchanges and change-of-mind returns

All Other EU Countries — You Ship, We Reimburse

For all other European Union countries, we are not yet able to offer home pickup. We wish we could — but for now, here is how it works:

       You send the shoes back to us using a carrier of your choice

       Please keep the shipping invoice and send it to us along with your return

       Once we receive and inspect the parcel, we will fully reimburse your return shipping cost

📌 Note: We know this is not ideal, and we appreciate your patience. We are working to expand our pickup service to more countries.

Outside the European Union

Unfortunately, we are not able to cover return shipping costs for orders shipped outside the European Union. Return shipping costs for international orders are the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method, as refunds are only issued once we receive and verify the returned item.

 

5. Discounted & Sale Items

Wrong size on a discounted item

Free size exchange. If your size is not available, we will offer store credit.

Don't like it / change of mind

No refund available on discounted items. Size exchanges only.

Damaged or defective item

Full resolution — contact us at wecare@camiashoes.com

 

📌 Note: Discounted items are final sale and cannot be refunded. We are happy to exchange for the correct size whenever stock allows.

 

6. Refund Process & Timeline

Once we receive your return, here is what happens:

Refund is processed through Shopify Payments to your original payment method.

3. Bank processing

Varies by bank

Your bank or card provider may take additional time to credit the amount. This is outside our control.

 

Total expected time from parcel receipt to refund: approximately 5–10 business days.

If more than 10 business days have passed since your return was approved and you haven't received your refund, please contact us at wecare@camiashoes.com.

 

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:

       Custom or personalized products (special orders)

       Gift cards

Discounted / sale items follow the rules outlined in Section 5 above.

 

8. Our Sustainability Commitment

Returns have an environmental impact. Where possible, we:

       Refurbish and resell returned items in excellent condition

       Donate eligible items to charitable organizations

       Encourage customers to consolidate returns into a single shipment

We also encourage mindful purchasing. Our website includes care guides and sizing information to help you choose the right pair the first time.
