About Camia Shoes
Camia Shoes is a Portuguese brand founded by Colombians, born from a simple belief: if we all try to do things a little better, we can make a real, positive impact on the world. Three years ago that belief became our first swap shoe — a shoe with a button under the sole that lets you swap on different straps, so one base becomes many looks. Five shoes in one: less consumption, less waste. More than 80% of our straps are made from upcycled textile and leather waste, and we produce on a pre-order model, so there's no excess stock and no overproduction. Every pair is made with Portuguese hands and Colombian hearts.
How do Swap Shoes reduce overconsumption?
When you buy one pair of Camia Shoes, you're really buying several pairs in one. Every shoe has a button under the sole that lets you attach different straps and accessories, completely changing the model and the look. So instead of buying five separate pairs, you own five shoes in one — fewer purchases, less waste, and a longer-lasting wardrobe. It's a more responsible, sustainable way to consume fashion: our handmade-in-Portugal leather sandals are designed to adapt to your mood and occasion, not to be replaced each season.
What makes Camia Shoes sustainable?
Camia Shoes are designed around slow fashion and responsible consumption. More than 80% of our straps are made from upcycled fashion scraps — textile and leather waste we collect and turn into unique, limited-edition pieces. Every shoe is handmade in Portugal by skilled artisans, using high-quality leather and an ergonomic foam insole built to last well beyond a single season. We also produce on a pre-order model, so each pair is only made once it's ordered — no excess stock, no overproduction, no waste. And because our swap system lets one pair become many looks, you buy fewer shoes overall.
How does the swap system work?
Every Camia shoe has a base with a button under the sole. You simply attach or swap different straps and accessories onto that base to change the style completely — from a classic sandal to a statement piece in seconds. One base, many looks: instead of owning five separate pairs, you own one pair with five possibilities. You can adapt your shoes to any mood, outfit, or occasion without buying more, which keeps your wardrobe lighter and your footprint smaller.
How do I clean my Camia?
The best is to use leather transparent conditioners to clean your Camia, this maintains the fibers supple and preserves its appearance. Apply a small portion of transparent conditioner onto a clean+soft cloth and gently massage the cream into the leather to remove any grime or marks.
Can I exchange my item ?
If you'd like a different size or color, please email wecare@camiashoes.com to request a return. Once your return is accepted, we will issue a refund or exchange the product. If needed, you may also place a new order.
Please ensure that the item is returned in its original packaging.
Size exchanges: We will cover the return shipping costs.
Other reasons: Unfortunately, we cannot cover the return costs.
I've received a faulty item

Can I cancel my order?
You have a short window to cancel your order. To do this, in your history, select the "Cancel" button.
I feel my shoes tight, what can I do?
As soon as you put your Interchangeable Shoes on for the first time, you could feel your foot slightly tight in the fit: this is normal. This will ensure a good fit once the leather has softened, so there's no stress.
Don't see your size?
As a pre-order business, we can produce any size. If you need a 35, 43 or any other, let us know! We can make it just for you :)
What are straps made of?
All of our straps are made from upcycled materials—we recover leather and textiles from the fashion industry to create them. Some of our accessories contain nickel, so if you have a nickel allergy, we recommend choosing other options from our collection
Where are my interchangeable shoes made?
All our shoes are made in Europe, in Portugal in a small area called São João de Madeira. We work with a small factory were everything is handmade.
Are they real leather?
Yes! All of our shoes are made of real leather sorted from Spain.
Shipping questions
How can I track my order ?
Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive an email with your tracking number. If you are located in Portugal or Spain we will also send you a tracking number via WhatsApp.
Delivery Fees

Taxes and Customs
If you are within the European Union, taxes are included in the item price.
You will not be required to pay any fees (taxes and/or customs charges) to the courier upon delivery.
For orders shipped outside the European Union, your parcel may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees levied by your country's customs authority.

Missing or Lost Package
If your order has been lost or stolen, please get in touch with our Customer Care team at wecare@camiashoes.com. Our team will then contact the delivery company to resolve the issue.
Return questions
How can I make a return?
You have 15 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange. This applies to all orders.
For customers in the European Union: please note that EU law grants you a minimum 14-day right to return. Our 15-day policy exceeds this legal minimum.
To be eligible for a return, your shoes must:
• Be unworn and unused
• Have their original tags attached
• Be in the original packaging
Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted for return.
If you need to start a return, please contact us immediately at wecare@camiashoes.com. We will resolve the issue promptly at no cost to you.
How long will it take for my refund to be processed?
Once we have received the package, your refund will take approximately 15 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.
